Terms of Service

The service

Staty provides tools for organizing sports leagues and tournaments — registration, payments, scheduling, brackets, standings, and statistics. By creating an account or using staty.io you agree to these terms.

Fees

Staty is free to use. When you collect registration payments through the platform, a 1% platform fee applies to each payment. Stripe's standard processing fee (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) applies separately and is charged by Stripe, not Staty. Fees may change with notice.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms. Refund decisions for league registrations belong to the league organizer; Staty provides the tooling to issue them.

Your content and responsibilities

• You retain ownership of the data you enter. You grant us the license needed to host and display it as the service requires (e.g. public league pages you choose to publish).
• Organizers are responsible for having permission to enter participant information and for the accuracy of what they publish.
• Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to break or overload the platform, no scraping other organizations' data.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Staty available and fast, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties. We may add, change, or remove features. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Staty's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between organizers and participants.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
